Way of St. James in A Coruña
Anyone who goes on the Camino de Santiago knows that this is also synonymous with A Coruña, a province where this legendary route ends, and where you can take a detour to Santiago de Compostela or go all the way to Finisterre.
If you go here you will have the possibility of enjoying the English Way, something that will be possible from Ferrol or the city of A Coruña itself, as well as the so-called Northern Route or the French Way.
The route from Arzúa to Santiago de Compostela, passing through O Pedrouzo. Specifically, it is a route that comes from Palas de Rei and has an extension of 19 km with little slope, and that is responsible for following the course of the river Brandeso.
This route takes the user through small rural villages, such as A Calle, A Rúa, to end up in O Pedrouzo. You can also visit other places of interest such as the Church of Santa Eulalia de Arca or the Hermitage of San Paio.
In parallel, there is also a route that consists of going from O Pedrouzo to the Plaza de Obradoiro in Santiago de Compostela, also 19 km long and with no major slopes.
Vixía Herbeira and San Andrés de Teixido Route in A Coruña
If you like to enjoy the spectacular cliffs you can’t miss this route. The Costa Artabra has points of great beauty such as the Vixía Herbeira cliffs, the third highest in Europe and also the highest above sea level.
In this sense, the most recommendable itinerary starts at Garita Da Herbeira, where you should head towards San Andrés de Teixido to continue to Cortes Beach, and then return. This is a route of 14 km in total and with which you can make a stop for a walk in San Andrés de Teixido.

Route of Caaveiro, in Fragas de Eume in A Coruña
If you are looking for unique landscapes, the route through the Fragas do Eume Natural Park will allow you to do so. It is a dense forest with stretches where the river Eume flows through before emptying into the Ría de Ares.
An almost virgin spot where poplars, oaks, ashes and alders stand out and where you can also discover sites such as the Monastery of San Juan de Caaveiro or the Romanesque bridge.
The most recommended route through the area starts at the Monastery of San Juan de Caveeiro., where you can see the ruins of the Muiño del río Sesín. It all starts at the Santa Cristina Bridge, and then crosses the riverside forest to reach San Bartolomé.
This circular route is 8 km long and can be done in just over 3 and a half hours.

Route of the Xallas Waterfall and Monte do Pindo, in Ézaro
On the Costa da Morte, in the council of Dumbría, is this 100-metre high waterfall where the river Xallas falls into the estuary. The route starts at the Ézaro Bridge and heads towards Monte do Pindo, encountering different natural springs and fountains along the way.
A path that will continue towards the Santa Uxía reservoir, to go towards the Mirador de Ézaro y towards the foot of the waterfall, to then return to the starting point of the route in question.
