In 2024, it took place from October 21 to 25 at the Teatro Principal, under the theme “To Exist is to Resist”. The festival focused on the resilience of Palestinian and Arab culture in the face of adversity, highlighting themes such as the Palestinian conflict, occupation, and the diverse experiences of life in the Arab world.

The program showcased powerful works like The Teacher by Farah Nabulsi, delving into the realities of Gaza, and Bye Bye, Tiberias, a film vying to represent Palestine at the 2024 Oscars. In addition to the screenings, the festival featured debates and interactive sessions with actors and directors, fostering intercultural dialogue and promoting a message of peace. CINEUROPA

The Cineuropa Festival is one of the most important cinematic events in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, held every November since its inception in 1987.
